Dan Parmenter is a creative director and copywriter from Johannesburg, South Africa. Over 20 years, he has worked across agencies including Ogilvy, McCann, TBWA, FCB, Y&R, and M&C Saatchi, with his work recognised at major international and regional creative shows including Cannes Lions, Clio, One Show, London International, and more. He currently works for McCann Worldgroup in Singapore on clients across APAC, and previously served as Creative Director for Ogilvy Hong Kong, overseeing The Coca-Cola Company portfolio regionally and worldwide. He is inspired by good headlines, bad puns, overly long body copy, questionably shaped clouds, and the remarkable overconfidence of his cat.
Germaine started her professional career as a graphic designer but quickly found her passion in advertising as an Art Director. A believer in storytelling and creating work that touches people’s hearts — or gives them laughs and giggles — she has done so for brands like IKEA, Spotify, NTUC Income, Mandai, and Singapore Airlines, earning accolades at global award shows such as D&AD, Cannes Lions, and the Effies.
Raised on a steady diet of TV ads lovingly compiled by her parents, she traded a law degree for brand planning at JWT, Ogilvy, and BBDO — working on everything from banks to diapers. At Grab, she leads brand strategy for the superapp, steering regional marketing campaigns and driving corporate reputation and social impact initiatives across SEA. Off-duty, she’s a hands-on mum to a cheeky preschooler, waging endless wars over bedtime and her daughter's Disney princess obsession.
Maggie Michella is an Associate Creative Director at Ogilvy Singapore, where she works on every account of the agency. She is better known for her knack for throwing out the most random questions and, more often than not, stumbling upon some pretty interesting answers. Along the way, she has managed to snag a few shiny metals for the trouble.
“Please just add a year to last year’s bio, and that I’m back at TBWA and work wise? I don’t know, make something up.”
Elrid began his career in Mumbai, rising through India’s top agencies before moving to Singapore. Along the way he’s led global campaigns for Airbnb’s and Singapore Tourism Board, shrunk books into 17-syllable haikus, and built a Chrome plugin that hides food photos during Ramadan’s fasting hours. His work has been recognized at Cannes Lions, One Show, London International Awards, Effies, and Spikes, and he has judged shows including Creative Circle (GONG), New York Festivals, and AICP Next. And if you’ve read this far, know this: he’s judging you; and his verdict is you’re amazing.
